The restaurant Le Cammissar takes its name from the painter Auguste Cammissar. This Strasbourg artist took refuge in the region during the Second World War and painted his most beautiful works there.
In the manner of the painter, Thomas Eblin and his teams offer you culinary masterpieces. The restaurant’s gastronomic cuisine will take you on a culinary and aesthetic journey. In order to highlight the region, the dishes are made from fresh and local products. The raw products are sublimated to make you rediscover authentic flavours.
In the heart of a half-timbered house dating from 1470 and built by Maximin II de Ribeaupierre, the gastronomic restaurant in Ribeauvillé combines modernity and tradition.

A TEAM OF PASSIONATE COOKS

Cammissar opened on 20 March 2022. This is Thomas Eblin’s first restaurant. He has been passionate about cooking since he was very young and trained in prestigious restaurants. He completed his apprenticeship in the restaurant “Le Maximilien”, a 1 Michelin star restaurant in Zellenberg, before becoming chef de partie at the Auberge de l’Ill in Illhaeusern, which at that time had 3 Michelin stars.
The restaurant team will passionately accompany you to offer you exceptional dishes.

We offer a honest cuisine, rooted in the seasons, authentic but modern and joyful. Sprinkled with good wines, we want it to be tasted, swallowed, devoured, gobbled up (it's up to you).
